Long story short, I bought their products with their promises I too would finally be able to generate income and live a better life. Many internet gurus had some excellent things to strengthen my site and a majority of the others were junk. I have save all the ones worth keeping and give it to my visitor at my web site. I still couldn't get my web page listed on any of the large-scale search engines and I paid even more to web companies to promote my page. What started to evolve was my bank account. It wasn't getting larger, it was getting lesser.

What I thought was going to allow me to take finer care of my family was now a financial drainer. I spent over $25,000 in 2 years with less than a $1000s in return cash flow. It was time for me to look over why my site wasn't effective.

The check listed started. Did I put good affiliate content on my pages? Yes! Was my site search engine friendly? Yes! Was I getting traffic? No! There was the problem. I did everything I thought to market my site but all the campaigns were failures. Granted, I did get visitors but they spent less than 30 seconds. Why? Why did they even come to my web page? I learned I wasn't targeting my visitors properly with what they were inquiring for online. I also learned that I wasted $1000s on marketing to the wrong surfers. I also learned a lot of the monies I paid for marketing were a hoax. They never even confirmed that my site was accepted.

However, I did learn a new word that was not the target point of every advertising operation I did in 2000. Keywords, competition, and domain names just to name a few. If you ever go to a web page just like the late night ads we see on TV about being independent and successful, remember this, If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. I am speaking out of 11 years of experience as an entrepreneur. It took me 3 years to perfect my niche.
